News Berkeley Rep Adds Ibsen's Ghosts to 2003-2004 Season Berkeley Repertory Theatre has added a staging of Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts to its season, Feb. 27-April 11, 2004.

California Shakespeare Theater artistic director Jonathan Moscone will direct the work set to open in The Roda Theatre space March 3. Casting for Ghosts will be announced at a later date.  

Ghosts explores social mores and family values in the worlds of two intertwined families, the Alvings and the Engstands. The Berkeley Rep will use a modern translation by Rick Davis and Brian Johnston.

The Ibsen classic joins the season that also includes Continental Divide (Nov. 6-Dec. 28), Yellowman (Jan. 23-March 7, 2004),The Mystery of Irma Vep (April 9-May 23, 2004) and a Moisés Kaufman-directed Master Class starring Rita Moreno (May 21-July 4, 2004).

Moscone has directed stagings of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Seagull and Julius Caesar. He is currently in his fourth season heading up the California Shakespeare Theater.
