News Berkshire Fest Lines Up Stephen R. Buntrock, Erin Dilly, Jen Cody, Mia Dillon and More Stephen R. Buntrock, Erin Dilly, Mia Dillon, Ray Bay Jones, Jenny Powers and Jen Cody have joined the Berkshire Theatre Festival's summer productions of The Who's Tommy, Sylvia, A Period of Adjustment and the world-premiere play In the Mood.

As previously reported, Eric Hill will direct The Who's Tommy, by Pete Townsend and Des McAnuff, which will run July 7-16 at the Colonial Theatre. It will have musical direction by Randy Redd and choreography by Gerry McIntyre.

In addition to James Barry (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) as Captain Walker and Randy Harrison (Wicked, "Queer As Folk") in the title role, the cast will also include Powers (Little Women, Grease) as Mrs. Walker, Angela Robinson (The Color Purple) as the Acid Queen, Christopher Gurr (Spamalot) as Uncle Ernie, Hannah Shankman (Hair) as Sally Simpson, as well as Jordan Barbour, Rory Donovan, Jaclyn Miller, Ben Rosenblatt, Zi Alikhan, Aaron Barcelo, Chris Chianesi, Brett Dameron, Rebecca Leigh, Connor McNinch, Paige Scott and Chris Vecchia.

A.R. Gurney's Sylvia, running July 12-30 on BTF's Fitzpatrick Main Stage, will feature Jones (Hair, Hello Again, Women on the Verge…), Walter Hudson, David Adkins and Jurian Hughes. Anders Cato will direct.

In the Mood, Kathleen Clark's play about a well-to-do couple preparing for a surprise party in their penthouse, will star theatre couple Buntrock (A Little Night Music) and Dilly (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), as well as Arnie Burton (A Free Man of Color, The 39 Steps), Cody (Shrek, The Pajama Game), Johanna Day (August: Osage County, Proof) and Damian Young (All My Sons, Sacrilege). Marc Bruni will direct the Aug. 2-13 run on the Fitzpatrick Main Stage.

Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Proof playwright and director David Auburn will stage Tennessee Williams' A Period of Adjustment Aug. 16-Sept. 3 on the BTF main stage. It will feature Tony Award winner Dillon (Crimes of the Heart), Rebecca Brooksher (Dying City), Paul Fitzgerald (Noises Off), Anney Giobbe and C.J. Wilson (Henry IV). Michael Weller's Moonchildren, running June 28-July 16 on the Unicorn Stage, will include Hale Appleman, Kale Brown, Aaron Costa Ganis, Carter Gill, Matt Harrington, Jesse Hinson, Andrew Joffe, Jeff Kent, Norma Kuhling, Joe Paulik, Samantha Richert, Miriam Silverman and David Wade Smith.

Amari Cheatom, ("Night Catch Us," The Book of Grace) and Christian Coulson ( "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets") will lead the world-premiere cast of Greg Keller's Dutch Masters, running July 19-Aug. 6, under the direction of Brian Roff.

The BTF Unicorn Company production of Finian’s Rainbow will include Alexandra Albrecht, Aaron Barcelo, Ryan Chittaphong, Rory Donovan, Ashley Everages, Ricardo Gayle, Joshua Marx, Aubrey Sinn, Robbie Williams and Aaron Carlton Wright. Kyle Fabel directs the Aug 9-27 run.

The fall production of Birthday Boy, a world premiere by Chris Newbound, will include Tara Franklin and Keira Naughton (The Rivals), Nick Dillenburg and James Ludwig. Wes Grantom will direct the run that will play Aug. 30-Sept. 3 and Sept. 29-Oct. 16.
