Directed by Barry Edelstein, Berkshire Village Idiot — a one-man solo show written and performed by Connor—is a semi-autobiographical story. It concerns the rebellion of a Catholic teenager, son of a Vietnam veteran, who becomes increasingly fascinated with Judaism. In the show, Connor plays multiple characters, including his mother and father, a crazy aunt, the village thug, a priest and the family dog. The play was recently nominated for an L.A. Weekly Award. Last summer, the Connor play ran at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The Williamstown engagement was July 30-Aug. 10.
