The benefit celebrates Academy Award, Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Marshall, who has roots in RTC productions. His sister, Tony winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes), directs and choreographs a 9 PM musical tribute hosted by Martin Short, with performances by Peters, Gere, Christine Baranski, Boyd Gaines, Victor Garber, Donna Murphy and Kelli O'Hara.

The March 12 Spring Gala at the Hammerstein Ballroom is called From Screen to Stage. Rob Marshall came to national prominence working on the musicals She Loves Me, Company, Little Me and the Tony Award-winning Cabaret. He moved on to TV and motion pictures, directing and choreographing the Oscar-winning film musical "Chicago," and directing "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," "Nine," "Memoirs of a Geisha" and the TV movie "Annie."

Roundabout will present the Jason Robards Award for Theatrical Excellence to Marshall at the Spring Gala. Musical direction and arrangements for the evening are by David Krane.

Roundabout's Spring Gala includes drinks, dinner and a live auction, followed by a special musical tribute to Marshall. ("Leadership ticket buyers" are also invited to a private VIP cocktail party with guest artists and other entertainment VIPs at 6 PM.)

Celebrities and artists expected to attend include Jane Alexander, Alec Baldwin, Matthew Broderick, Blair Brown, Matt Cavenaugh, Margaret Colin, Kristin Chenoweth, Jim Dale, Gordon Edelstein, Nora Ephron, Katie Finneran, Santino Fontana, Alexander Gemignani, Paul Gemignani. Joanna Gleason, Sam Gold, Carla Gugino, Joel Grey, Jessica Hecht, Jayne Houdyshell, Doug Hughes, Marin Ireland, Cherry Jones, John Kander, Carol Kane, Steve Kazee, Jane Krakowski, LaChanze, James Lapine, William Ivey Long, Joe Masteroff, Michael McGrath, John McMartin, Debra Monk, Martha Plimpton, David Rabe, Lily Rabe, Phylicia Rashad, Theresa Rebeck, Sherie Rene Scott, John Slattery, Alex Timbers, Tony Walton and Maury Yeston. The benefit features a public online auction featuring "several unique items including vacation packages, rare wines, VIP sports tickets, exquisite meals, and some classic Roundabout memorabilia."

All proceeds from the benefit support Roundabout's Musical Theatre Fund.

$1,500 Benefactor Single Ticket (includes dinner and the musical performance).

$2,500 Underwriter Single Ticket (includes private cocktail party with Roundabout artists, priority seating at the dinner and the musical performance).

$3,500 Celebrity Circle Single Ticket (includes private cocktail party with Roundabout artists, and VIP seating at the dinner and the musical performance).

$5,000 Producer's Circle Single Ticket (includes private cocktail party with Roundabout artists, and front row seating at the dinner and the musical performance).
