News Bernstein on Broadway Concert to Feature Grey Gardens' Ebersole Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole, The Light in the Piazza's Matthew Morrison and Leonard Bernstein protégé Kurt Ollman will take part in the upcoming Bernstein on Broadway concert at Tanglewood.

The July 12 concert is set to begin at 8:30 PM, and the performers will be backed by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the direction of Keith Lockhart. Stephen Cole has penned the script for the concert, which will feature direction by Gary Griffin and musical direction by David Krane. Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes from On the Town, Wonderful Town, West Side Story, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and Candide . Tony winner Ebersole, who will return to Broadway this fall in Grey Gardens, will perform such Bernstein classics as "I Can Cook Too," "Conga" and "Duet for One." The evening will also feature vocal fellows from the Tanglewood Music Center.

Christine Ebersole received a 2003 Tony nomination for her performance in Lincoln Center’s production of Dinner at Eight. She also received a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Dorothy Brock in the hit revival of 42nd Street. Ebersole’s other Broadway credits include The Best Man, Getting Away with Murder, Harrigan 'n Hart, Camelot, Oklahoma!, On the Twentieth Century, I Love My Wife, Angel Street and the City Center Encores! productions of A Connecticut Yankee, Ziegfeld Follies of 1936, Lady in the Dark and Allegro. She was also seen Off-Broadway in Talking Heads and was most recently seen in Grey Gardens, which brought the actress Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for her performance. That musical is set to begin previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre Oct. 3.
