News Berresse and Hurlbert Join NYMF's "Best of the Fest" Gala Autumn Hurlbert and Michael Berresse are among the final performers announced for the New York Musical Theatre Festival's "Best of the Fest" gala celebration on April 20 at New World Stages.

Berresse (A Chorus Line, [title of show]), Hurlbert (Legally Blonde) and Nicholas Gailbrath (Albert & I) will be the masters of ceremonies for the 7 PM gala.

The event will boast performances from Tony winner Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins' Broadway), Tony nominees Euan Morton (Taboo) and Liz Larson (Hairspray), Nellie McKay (Threepenny Opera), Mary Bond Davis (Hairspray), Diane Davis (Old Acquaintance), Tom Deckman (Spamalot), Rachel Stern (High Fidelity) and Jon Patrick Walker (Young Frankenstein).

Also announced to perform are Kate Reinders (Wicked, Gypsy), Annaleigh Ashford (Wicked), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde), Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy), Ivan Hernandez (The Most Happy Fella), Ryan Bogner (Bedbugs!!!) and Celina Carvajal (Rooms, Tarzan), as well as cast members from Rooms, Altar Boyz and [title of show] for an evening of highlights from past NYMF productions.

The sixth annual New York Musical Theatre Festival will run Sept. 28-Oct. 18. The festival has presented new works from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Korea and across the United States that have gone on to enjoy regional, Off-Broadway and Broadway success.
