The Meeting*, Justin Sayre’s comedy/variety show, has announced the line-up for its upcoming show at The Public Theater’s Joe’s Pub, which will be in honor of Bette Midler. Special guests October 23 will include Fun Home’s Beth Malone, Nathan Lee Graham, Katie Thompson and Amber Martin.

The evening is part of the eighth and final season of The Meeting*—also known as the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites. In addition to honoring Hello, Dolly! star Midler, it will celebrate The Gay Agenda—the debut comedy album from Sayre.

Tracy Stark serves as the music director.

On November 20, The Meeting* will feature a tribute to Angela Lansbury; December 18 will be titled the 8th Annual Holiday Spectacular!

Joe’s Pub bills The Meeting*, which blends comedy, politics and culture, as a show known for “its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration.” It received the 2012 Bistro Award for Comedy Artistry and a 2011 MAC Award nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance.

The Gay Agenda is available on iTunes HERE, and physical CDs are available at the show and at InternationalOrderofSodomites.com.
