The festival has announced the line-up of performers for Women of Note, a celebration of female, queer and trans artists.

The New York Musical Festival has announced the line-up of performers for Women of Note, a concert series that celebrates female, queer and trans artists. The one-night-only showcase, made up of two concerts, will feature songs by Jeanine Tesori, Shaina Taub, Lynn Ahrens, Jill Abramovitz, Georgia Stitt, and more.

Among the performers on August 1 will be Betsy Wolfe, Margot Seibert, Adriane Lenox, Taub, Lauren Pritchard, Elizabeth A. Davis, Grace Mclean, Molly Pope, Abramovitz, Grace Wall, Luke Holloway, Lauren Marcus, Alex Tripp, Jean Rohe, Katie Thompson, Michael Winther, Courtney Bassett and Kathleen Wrinn.

The Women of Note line-up for the first concert includes songs by Ahrens, Stitt, Green, Carmel Dean and Kate Hamill, Eisa Davis, Tina DeVaron, Kate Douglas, Sarah Taylor Ellis and Meghan Brown, Amanda Green, Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, Anna Jacobs, Pritchard, Zoe Sarnak, Lucy Simon, Jennifer Stafford and Wrinn.

The line-up for the second concert includes songs by Abramovitz, Taub, Tesori, Aya Abdelaziz, Rebekah Allen, Barbara Anselmi, Maggie-Kate Coleman and Erato Kremmyda, Elizabeth A. Davis, Ty Defoe and Tidtaya Sinutoke, Kait Kerrigan, Lauren Marcus, Grace McLean, Jean Rohe, Rona Siddiqui and Katie Thompson.

The Women of Note concert series will be directed by Karen Azenberg, with Rachel Abrams serving as line producer and Jess Glover as musical director.
