News Bette Midler Is Reviving Hocus Pocus for a Good Cause Bette Midler promised that Winifred Sanderson is coming back for one night only.

Hocus Pocus fans have been hoping that Bette Midler would reprise her performance as Winifred Sanderson on stage or screen, and even Midler has mentioned that she’s eager to revisit the role.

While a screen sequel remains in limbo, Midler announced that she’s dressing up as Winnie for her annual Hulaween fundraiser — which will be hosted by Kathy Griffin with a performance by Darlene Love — for the New York Restoration Project. The non-profit NYRP ensures that all New Yorkers have access to high-quality, public green spaces.

Each Halloween, Midler (a Hawaii native) invites friends, fans and donors to dress up and attend her Hulaween event. This year’s party will take place October 28 at the Waldorf Astoria.
