Without a doubt, actress Betty Buckley and producer Roger Berlind have spent a life in the theatre. Now, the T. Schreiber Studio will make it official on Jan. 25, 1999 when the two pros will be presented with "Life in the Theatre" achievement awards at a gala benefit. The benefit will simultaneously commemorate the Schreiber Studio's 30th anniversary.
Movie star and studio member Edward Norton ("American History X") is honorary chair of the gala committee and will participate in the program. Buckley will sing.
Buckley first appeared on Broadway in 1776 . She has since acted in Carrie , Triumph of Love , and Sunset Boulevard . Berlind has produced dozens of shows, including Nine , The Real Thing and the current The Blue Room .
The Schreiber Studio was formed in 1969 by Terry Schreiber, who continued to run it.
