After having completed a 5-month, $6 million reconstruction project, the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will reopen its doors on Oct. 3 at its newly renovated two-theatre facility in Eden Park .

The grand reopening celebration is scheduled for that day with Premiere in the Park featuring Tony Award-winning singer and actress Betty Buckley. The black-tie event will include dinner, dancing and song from Buckley -- who is currently in previews of Triumph of Love -- who will commemorate and showcase the new Playhouse.

For the celebration, Buckley will perform a compilation of pop, jazz, blues and Broadway tunes from past and present. After the performance, guests will be treated to a gourmet meal created by Quality Hotel Riverview to be followed by dessert and dancing under the stars.
