Tony winner Buckley will offer a five-day Song Interpretation & Monologue Intensive Workshop at the T. Schreiber Studio Dec. 7-11. The acclaimed artist will assist aspiring artists, educators and experienced performers in the craft of singing, acting and storytelling.
Buckley, according to a press release, will share "her expertise and [guide] her students through a methodology that facilitates audience connection through songs and monologues. Her emotional connection to songs and audiences is renowned, and that very connection is at the heart of what Ms. Buckley imparts to her students."
The class also welcomes observers who participate in all aspects of the class except the individual coaching.
Classes will be offered Monday-Friday evenings from 6:30 PM-10:30 PM. An accompanist will be provided.
Buckley is offering the classes while on break from filming M. Night Shyamalan's new film "Split," which co-stars James McAvoy and is scheduled to arrive in cinemas in January 2017.

Betty Buckley offered acclaimed performances in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter. Her screen credits are numerous.
