To get New York ready for all the glitter and platform shoes, audiences at the 2010 Tony Awards at Radio City were treated to a video featuring London Priscilla cast members lip-synching to Liza Minnelli's rendition of the Beyoncé single "Single Ladies."

London cast member John Walsh created the video (replete with signature Priscilla costumes) that was aired during a commercial break at the Tony Awards. This means that Beyoncé, who was seated in the front row at Radio City (her husband Jay-Z is a producer of Fela!), saw the "Single Ladies" parody first hand.

Walsh twittered "Can't cope" when he heard the news.
