News   Bid on a Wicked Broom Signed by Tony Winner Idina Menzel

There is no guarantee that it will get you airborne, but the Wicked broom that helped Idina Menzel win her Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical is currently up for bidding to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

According to a posting on biddingbowl.com, "Everyone deserves the chance to fly...…on your very own hand-crafted authentic Elphaba broom. Signed by the original Elphaba, Idina Menzel!

"This broom was hand-made by Chic Silber (our Special Effects Master) whose name is engraved on the handle. Several witches on Broadway have fought and 'flown' with this historical Broadway artifact."

The broom is one of several Wicked-themed items up for auction. Click here for more information.

Wicked continues to play to capacity audiences at Broadway's Gershwin Theatre.
