News Bierko to Play by "Rules" in Fox Pilot Theatre veteran Craig Bierko will play the lead role in Fox's comedy pilot "The Rules of Starting Over," according to published reports.

Bierko's character is a single man with a group of recently divorced friends looking for love. Rashida Jones ("Boston Public," "The Office") is also cast. Bobby Farrelly ("There's Something About Mary") is directing the pilot, which was written by Chris Pappas and Mike Bernier for 20th Century Fox TV. Brad Johnson, Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly and Bradley Thomas are executive producers.

Bierko has appeared on Broadway in Thou Shalt Not and The Music Man (Tony nomination) and Off-Broadway in Modern Orthodox.

He has appeared in the films "For Your Consideration," "Cinderella Man," "Kate and Leopold," "The Long Kiss Goodnight" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and has a recurring role on ABC's "Boston Legal."
