News Bill Connington, Annmarie Benedict to Read A.R. Gurney's Love Letters at New York Society Library Bill Connington and Annmarie Benedict will perform a reading of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters at The New York Society Library Oct. 28 at 6:30 PM.

Both actors were among the group who previously read Gurney's A Cheever Evening at the Library Oct. 21.

According to Gurney, Love Letters is “about a fifty-year love affair carried on primarily through letters, written in and about a world where letter-writing was very much an essential mode of communication, especially between men and women.”

Gurney's plays include The Dining Room, The Cocktail Hour, Richard Cory, Indian Blood, Buffalo Gal and most recently, The Grand Manner. His Office Hours is currently being performed at the Flea Theater.
