The 8 PM event, which coincides with the Public production of King Lear, will also feature David Brooks, Dr. Mary Schmidt Campell, Damian Woetzel and Public artistic director Oskar Eustis. It will focus on arts and our democracy.

Additional Public Forum events include Stephen Sondheim and Tony Kushner, who will reunite for a Jan. 17, 2012, discussion at the Skirball Center that will focus on Sondheim's second installment of his memoir and lyric anthology, "Look, I Made a Hat," which is due Nov. 22.
