News Bill Pullman to Join Cast of BBC's "Torchwood" Veteran stage and screen actor Bill Pullman will join John Barrowman in the cast of the BBC series "Torchwood," according to deadline.com.

Pullman will play Oswald Jones, a convicted murderer who escapes a lifetime prison sentence on a technicality and becomes a sensation in the media as he becomes part of a worldwide crisis.

Pullman has appeared on Broadway in Oleanna and The Goat, Off-Broadway in Peter and Jerry, and at Washington, D.C.'s The Kennedy Center in The Subject Was Roses. His screen credits include "Independence Day," "Lost Highway," "Sleepless in Seattle," "Ruthless People," "While You Were Sleeping," "The Grudge" and "Spaceballs," among others.

The fourth season of "Torchwood" will air on the BBC and the U.S. cable network Starz. Premiere dates will be announced.
