PlayBlog Billy Elliot's Dayton Tavares Performs at the White House in Judith Jamison Tribute (Video) Billy Elliot star Dayton Tavares performed "Electricity" from the Tony Award-winning musical at the White House (with First Lady Michelle Obama in the audience) Sept. 7 as part The White House Dance Series: A Tribute to Judith Jamison.

The performance featured several American dance companies in a tribute to Jamison's career as a dancer, choreographer and artistic director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Tavares' co-stars, Jacob Clemente, Alex Ko and Liam Readhead, took part in a dance workshop at the White House earlier in the day.
