News Billy Lewis, Elena Ricardo, Noah Zachary to Bloom in Re-Vision's Spring Awakening The Re-Vision Theatre production of the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening will feature Billy Lewis, Elena Ricardo and Noah Zachary as the leading trio in the coming-of-age rock musical.

Carlos Armesto will direct the production that will run Aug. 4-28 at the Carousel House in Asbury Park, NJ. Spring Awakening will be choreographed by Elisabetta Spuria and have musical direction by Michael Thomas Murray.

Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik co-wrote the musical based on the 1891 play by Frank Wedekind. Sater authored the Tony-winning book and lyrics to Spring Awakening, which has music by Grammy and Tony-winning singer-songwriter Sheik.

Lewis, a veteran of the Spring Awakening national tour, will play Melchior, with Ricardo (Bring It On! The Musical) as Wendla and Zachary (Dear Edwina) as Moritz.

The cast will also include Hannah Shankman (Hair, Rent) as Ilse, Teddy Toye (Lysistrata Jones) as Otto, Renee Bang Allen (Company) as Adult Female, Spiro Galiatsatos (Altar Boyz) as Hanschen, Spencer Kiely (High School Musical) as Ernst, Jonny Beauchamp (Pinkalicious) as Georg, Travis Mitchell (Spring Awakening) as Adult Male, Shira Elias (Hair at ReVision) as Martha and Chelsea Zeno (ReVision’s Kingdom) as Anna.

Designing Spring Awakening are Steven Kemp (set design), Sarita Fellows (costume design), Jake DeGroot (lighting design) and Karoline Budna (sound design). Spring Awakening won eight 2007 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The original Broadway production of Spring Awakening featured direction by Michael Mayer and choreography by Bill T. Jones.

Songs featured in the Tony-winning score are "All That's Known," "And Then There Were None," "Blue Wind/Don't Do Sadness," "Left Behind," "Mamma Who Bore Me," "My Junk, "The Bitch of Living," "The Dark I Know Well," "The Guilty Ones," "The Song of Purple Summer," "The Word of Your Body," "Those You've Known," "Totally Fucked," "Touch Me," "Whispering" and "The Mirror-Blue Night."
