The benefit, which brings together theatre stars to perform songs from shows and roles in which they'd never be cast, is hosted by Victor Garber (Sweeney Todd, Present Laughter).
The evening promises performances by Porter, Jordan, Hilty and Pasquale, as well as Zosia Mamet, Raúl Esparza, Anika Noni Rose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sasha Allen, Keala Settle and Nicole Parker. Phil Reno serves as musical director. The 2014 Miscast gala honors Allison Janney.
Proceeds support MCC Theater's mission to develop and produce work Off-Broadway, its Youth Company and partnerships with New York City public high schools, and MCC's literary development work with emerging playwrights.
