On Nov. 28, Porter will perform At the Corner of Broadway and Soul, which is also the title of his recently released CD on the Sh-K-Boom Records label. Show times are 7:30 and 9:30 PM. Among the tunes Porter interprets on the new disc are "Heaven," "Why We Sing," "Let It Sing," "Awaiting You," "King of the World," "Last Midnight," "Hell of High Water," "Love Is on the Way" and "Sunday." Billy Porter was seen in the Public Theater's productions of Merchant of Venice and King Lear. His Broadway credits include Grease!, Miss Saigon, Five Guys Named Moe, Smokey Joe's Cafe and the Dreamgirls Actors' Fund benefit. Regionally, Porter has appeared in Angels in America and Going Native, and his screen credits include "Broken Hearts Club," "Shake Rattle & Roll" and "The Intern."
