Billy Porter Spreads Christmas Cheer in Latest Ham4Ham (Video) | Playbill

News Billy Porter Spreads Christmas Cheer in Latest Ham4Ham (Video) Ham4Ham — the impromptu performances that occur periodically on the front steps of the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where Hamilton is playing — welcomed Tony Award winner Billy Porter Dec. 9 to spread Christmas cheer to people standing on line for Hamilton's discount ticket lottery.

Introduced by Hamilton creator-star Lin-Manuel Miranda, Porter sang an a capella version of the holiday standard "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Porter, who recently concluded his long run in his signature role as Lola in Kinky Boots, will appear in Sinatra: Voice for a Century Dec. 18 on PBS' "Live From Lincoln Center," and is scheduled return to Broadway in Shuffle Along next April.
