News   Birdie's Doyle Will Be Part of Life Times Concert at the Duplex
Life Times: Music by Will Van Dyke will be presented Oct. 12 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The evening will feature the talents of Bye Bye Birdie's Matt Doyle as well as Katie Gassert and Preston Sadleir. The singers will be accompanied by a band that includes Joe Choroszewski, Karen DiYanni, David Fallo, Allison Seidner and Josh Weinstein with composer Van Dyke on piano. Lisa Moss directs the 7 PM concert.

Van Dyke's tunes feature additional lyrics by Josh Halloway and Randy Blair.

Van Dyke and Halloway's original works include the musicals Pages (CAP21) and Halloway's one-man show Girl's I've LIKE Liked (ArsNova). Van Dyke has also penned the scores to Where The Blue Grass Grows (La Tea), That Pageant Show (Slightly Askew), Toilus and Cressida (Soho Rep) and We Three Kings.
