CHICAGO--B.J. Jones has been named as the new artistic director of the huge, Skokie-based Northlight Theatre. Better known as an actor than as a director, the veteran performer (who once played the title role in a stage version of Bob Greene's Bagboy) will replace Russell Vandenbroucke, who moves on to other projects. Jones reportedly impressed the Northlight board with his bonhomie and enthusiasm and looks forward to attracting younger audiences to this financially challenged subscription theatre.
