Little Orphan Annie's come a long way.

Beginning April 16, Andrea McArdle will begin a six-week stint in the Off Broadway hit, The Vagina Monologues. Her co-stars will be Karen Black and Janet Hubert. They will stay until May 26.

McArdle will always be best remembered as the original title urchin in Annie. Since then, she's gone on to other stage roles, memorably a long stay as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

Black was a film presence during the heady days of late-60s, early '70s Hollywood. After a supporting part in "Easy Rider," she won acclaim and several awards for her performance opposite Jack Nicholson in "Five Easy Pieces." Other credits include "Family Plot" and "The Great Gatsby." By the 1980s, however, her star had faded due to a string a poor films and she devolved into something of a cult figure, inspiring the name of the indy rock group, Karen Black.

Hubert appeared as Tantomile in Broadway's Cats. Idina Menzel, Carol Jenkins and Joyce Van Patten continue with the show until April 16.
