News Bloomingdale's Unveils "Chicago" January 7 Manhattan department store Bloomingdale's will celebrate the opening of the "Chicago" film with a special event Jan. 7.

Bloomingdale's will welcome Queen Latifah, who plays Matron "Mama" Morton in the Miramax film, on Jan. 7 when it unveils its Third Avenue windows. The window display features a "stylish interpretation of the film featuring Hue legwear and Lycra." An informal modeling of the clothes on display will follow on Bloomingdale's The Balcony. Rob Marshall directed and choreographed "Chicago," which hit U.S. screens Dec. 27. Featuring a star-studded cast led by Renée Zellweger (Roxie Hart), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Velma Kelly) and Richard Gere (Billy Flynn), the "Chicago" company also includes John C. Reilly (Amos Hart), Dominic West (Fred Caseley), Christine Baranski (Mary Sunshine), Queen Latifah (Mama Morton) as well as Taye Diggs, Colm Feore, Lucy Liu, Mya, Marc Calamia, Deidre Goodwin, Sebastian La Cause, Mary Ann Lamb and a cameo from original Chicago star Chita Rivera.
