News Bloomingdale's Will Feature In-Store Performances By Cast Members of Aladdin, Beautiful, After Midnight The Tony Awards and Bloomingdale's have announced a series of special experiences for theatre fans leading up to the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

Cast members from Aladdin, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical and After Midnight will appear at Bloomingdale's (1000 3rd Avenue) to offer performances, ticket giveaways, photo opportunities and CD signings (cast members from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder performed May 13). The upcoming schedule follows:

May 15 at 5 PM – Appearance by Aladdin Princess Jasmine, Courtney Reed
May 20 at 5 PM – Beautiful – The Carole King Musical performance
May 22 at 5 PM – After Midnight performance

Store windows showcasing this season's productions debuted May 9 and will be presented through May 27. Jane Greenwood, this year’s recipient of the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, is honored with a window display of her designs throughout her career, including costumes worn by Anne Hathaway in Twelfth Night, Mary-Louise Parker in Snow Geese and Lily Rabe in As You Like It.

Other windows spotlight the Best Musical nominees — Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Aladdin, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and After Midnight — with costumes, sketches and props from each production and show-inspired Bloomingdale’s fashions.

Costumes from the most recent productions of Drowsy Chaperone, Follies and Side Show are also featured on the third floor of Bloomingdale’s through June 8.

The Tony Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman, will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall on the CBS television network June 8 beginning at 8 PM ET. For more information visit www.TonyAwards.com.
