News   Blue Heron Theatre Takes a Look at Two Rooms, Nov. 1-25 The Blue Heron Theatre will commence its 14th season with Two Rooms, a revival of Lee Blessing's 1988 play, which tells the story of an American being held hostage in Beirut, alternating between the drama in Beirut and his home in America, where his wife must also cope with the crisis.

The Blue Heron Theatre will commence its 14th season with Two Rooms, a revival of Lee Blessing's 1988 play, which tells the story of an American being held hostage in Beirut, alternating between the drama in Beirut and his home in America, where his wife must also cope with the crisis.

The production will be directed by Roger Danforth, artistic director of the Drama League Directors Project, whose credits include Jungle Rot and Boy Meets Girl. The design team includes Roman Tatarowicz, costumes by Theresa Squire and sound by Antonio Garfias.

The play stars Thomas James O'Leary (Phantom of the Opera) as the hostage Wells, Monica Koskey (Julius Caesar) as his wife, Beth Dixon (Major Barbara) as the State Department official and Steve Cell (Death of a Salesman) as reporter Walker Harrison.
