Mantello (Other Desert Cities, Take Me Out) co-directs the 8 PM event with Lisa Leguillo. It serves as a benefit for victims of abuse and domestic violence.

Tony winners Blythe Danner (Follies, Butterflies Are Free, "Meet the Parents") and Julie White (The Little Dog Laughed, The Understudy), as well as Brooke Shields (who will return to Broadway in The Addams Family in late June) headline the special event. Matt McGrath and Minerva Scelza produce.

The monologues "dive into the mystery, humor, pain, power, sexuality, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women's experiences."

The Vagina Monologues will be presented at John Drew Theater in Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY. For tickets phone (631) 574-1009 or visit VDayEastHampton.
