Bob Martin, who earned a Tony nomination in 2006 for his performance as reclusive theatre obsessive “Man in Chair” in The Drowsy Chaperone (for which he also wrote the book), will return to the role for Encores!’ 25th anniversary season.

Martin will appear in character as part of Hey, Look Me Over!, an original revue that explores shows that have not yet been given new life on the Encores! stage. Hey, Look Me Over! is conceived by Encores! Artistic Director Jack Viertel. Performances will run February 7–11, 2018, at New York City Center. Rob Berman will once again take to the podium to conduct the Encores! orchestra.

Martin earned Tony nominations for both his performance and the book of The Drowsy Chaperone. He is also the book writer of the musical adaptation of Elf.
