PlayBlog "Bob the Musical," a Movie With Songs by Marc Shaiman, Still in Development Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the director-writers of the 3-D animated film "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," are in talks to direct the movie musical "Bob the Musical," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Disney film is about a fellow who suddenly finds himself in a world where everyone sings. Marc Shaiman, the Tony Award-winning co-songwriter of Hairspray and the Broadway-bound Catch Me If You Can, is writing the film's music and lyrics.

A handful of writers and directors (including "Hairspray" film director Adam Shankman) have already had brushes with the project.
