News Bobby Moreno, Anney Giobbe, Eric Hoffman Will Visit the Post Office at New Ohio Theater Human Animals will present the world premiere of Post Office, a new play by David Jenkins, beginning Dec. 1, prior to an official opening Dec. 6, at the New Ohio Theater.

Directed by Josie Whittlesey, the limited engagement will run through Dec. 17 and will feature Bobby Moreno (Off-Broadway's Invasion!), Anney Giobbe (Suburbia at Lincoln Center) and Eric Hoffman (West Side Story world tour).

Here's how the show is billed: "Set in the fictional town of Little Neck, Illinois, Post Office follows James Noone, a 19-year-old mail carrier making the painful and confusing transition into the working world. Denny, an aging mail carrier has taken it upon himself to teach the reluctant James everything he knows. In the meantime, James embarks on an affair with a disillusioned housewife, who imparts some lessons of a radically different stripe. Jenkins' play considers what the decline of the U.S. Mail means for three residents of a small town, each of them linked by the mail, each of them trying to find something to believe in."

Other members of the creative team include set designer Alexis Distler and lighting designer Seth Reiser.
