News Bombay Dreams Celebrates One Year in the West End June 19 Bombay Dreams celebrates its first birthday on June 19, and to mark the occasion it has been announced that the Bollywood musical has extended its booking period through March 2004.

Bombay Dreams has now been seen by over 650,000 people, has a gold album in the U.K. (sales of over 100,000) and will have paid back investors by this summer.

Bombay Dreams features music by A. R. Rahman, lyrics by Don Black and a book by Meera Syal. It is directed by Steven Pimlott, designed by Mark Thompson, with choreography by Anthony van Laast and Farah Khan.

Produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the Bollywood musical plays the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
