News Bond, Caruso, Feldman, Hall and Officer to Star in Capote's A Christmas Memory The Storefront's Friday Night Stories series, which theatricalizes short works of fiction, continues Dec. 17 with Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory.

Directed by Phil Geoffrey Bond, the 9:30 PM reading will boast a cast led by Bond, Jim Caruso, Brandon Cutrell, Adam Feldman, Carol Hall, Eleanor Haas, Marina MacNeal, Phillip Officer and Courter Simmons. The evening will also include music by composers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, Craig Carnelia, Carol Hall, Billy Joel and Stephen Sondheim. A Christmas Memory, according to production notes, "is Truman Capote's celebrated holiday classic concerning a young Capote and his eccentric, slightly-retarded cousin, Sook. Set against the colorful backdrop of rural Monroeville, Alabama, the pair experience a number of holiday adventures along with their rat-terrier, Queenie, as they prepare for the season." Geraldine Page starred as Sook in the 1966 TV film version of the book for ABC's Stage 67.
