News   Bonds, Petro, Pettiford, Roseberry and Spina Sing Fugitive Songs Off-Broadway
Fugitive Songs is the title of Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen's new musical, which is currently playing a limited engagement through March 30 at Off-Broadway's 45th Street Theatre.

Directed by Joe Calarco, the production, which began previews March 8, stars D.B. Bonds, Halle Petro, Todd E. Pettiford, Ben Roseberry and Lucia Spina. The Dreamlight Theatre Company produces.

Fugitive Songs, according to press notes, is a "17-song journey across America, spotlighting people on the run: a disgruntled Subway sandwich employee, a jilted ex-cheerleader, a pair of Patty Hearst fanatics, a stoner who robs a convenience store against his will, and many others."

The production features set design by Brian Prather, costume design by Jennifer Caprio and lighting design by Joel Shier. Justin Mendoza is music director.

Miller and Tysen's The Mysteries of Harris Burdick will open Barrington Stage's Musical Theatre Lab season in June. Their Burnt Part Boys is also scheduled for a production at Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre.

Show times are Wednesday-Saturday at 8 PM with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM. The 45th Street Theatre is located in Manhattan at 354 West 45th Street. Tickets, priced $20, are available by calling (800) 595-4849 or by visiting
