The evening features guest star Andrew Rannells, a 2011 Tony nominee for his performance in The Book of Mormon.

Rannells, according to press notes, "will be subjecting himself to Miranda's sensitive and pitch-perfect critiques, and a haunting duet is in the works." Miranda will perform a show "filled with improvisation, hit songs, onstage voice lessons, magic tricks, and dramatic readings of her own hate mail."

Miranda Sings is an internet character created by California-based theatre student Colleen Ballinger, and proliferated via YouTube.

Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street. For tickets, priced $25-$35 (plus $10 food/drink minimum), call (212) 581-3080 or visit www.BirdlandJazz.com.
