The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on July 4 will be broadcast live on CBS, the Boston Symphony announced.

Conductor Keith Lockhart and the Pops will perform the free outdoor concert on July 3 and 4 on the Charles River Esplanade. The second evening culminates in a performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture accompanying a display of fireworks.

CBS will carry the final hour of the concert, including 20 minutes of fireworks, without commercial interruption, starting at 10 p.m. ET. The event marks the third time that the Pops' July 4 concert will be broadcast on network television.
