Boston's Lyric Stage celebrates the New Year with Joe Orton’s farce, Entertaining Mr. Sloane., opening January 3, running through February 2. Sloane portrays a handsome young border living under the roof of the respectable Londoner, Kath. When Kath’s brother Ed tries to protect her from the sexual advances of the single border, he is seduced by the spell of the mysterious tenant, creating a humorous sequence of power dynamics between them all.
