Tickets for all preview performances are available for $50. This special ticket offer, however, can only be purchased in person at the box office and is available on Aug. 30 only. The box office opens at 10 AM.

In addition, the first 25 participants in line when the box office opens will receive a copy of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? autographed by three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee. Everyone in line at 10 AM will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize package that includes a backstage tour and a dinner for two at Bond 45 Restaurant.

Previews for Virginia Woolf? will begin Sept. 27 with opening night set for Oct. 13, exactly 50 years to the day of the play’s original Broadway opening on Oct. 13, 1962. (Rehearsals for the Broadway revival begin Sept. 4.)

Directed by Tony Award nominee Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park), the production will feature the original Steppenwolf cast led by Tracy Letts and Amy Morton, the playwright and the star, respectively, of the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning smash hit August: Osage County. The two will face off as George and Martha, with Carrie Coon and Madison Dirks as the unwitting young couple invited over to George and Martha’s for an unforgettable night of cocktails and crossfire.

This production originally ran at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company from Dec. 2, 2010-Feb. 13, 2011, before transferring to Washington, DC's Arena Stage, where it ran from Feb. 25-April 10, 2011. The Broadway production will feature the original Steppenwolf creative team: Todd Rosenthal (set design), Nan Cibula-Jenkins (costume design), Allen Lee Hughes (light design) and Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen (sound design).

Steppenwolf's production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? will be presented on Broadway by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Susan Quint Gallin and Mary Lu Roffe.
