BURBANK, CA -- "A drunk Santa shows up on the porch of a feisty Jewish widow," is how Boxcar and Eugenia has been described by a company spokesperson.
The world premiere of Art Shulman's comedy will take place Aug. 14 at the Victory Theatre at 8 PM.
Shulman, a former psychologist and college professor, has been writing plays for four years. Director Lori Street-Tubert is a graduate of Point Par College in Pittsburgh and numbers Mud Pies and White Dresses, Throwing Stones and The Seed among her credits.
The cast includes Doug Engalla, Scotty Hauser, Therese Lentz, Randy Polk, Tony Salome and Rochelle Savitt.
