News Boy George to Depart West End's Taboo in September

Taboo may have only been running for a year, but its seems to have had more cast changes thanThe Mousetrap. At the moment — and until Sept. 7 — Boy George is playing his old friend Leigh Bowery in this wonderful re-creation of life in the outrageous clubs of early eighties London.

After George leaves the show, he will replaced by Julian Clary, who will bring his own wit and style — and, no doubt, a raft of camp followers — to the production, but those who want a double dose of George (with Euan Morton playing the young George and the real thing playing Bowery) should hurry along to The Venue before Sept. 7.
