News Boyett to Join Dykstra in Off-Broadway's A Play On Words Mark Boyett will co-star with Brian Dykstra in the Off-Broadway engagement of A Play On Words, which begins performances as part of Americas Off-Broadway May 13.

59E59 Theaters presents Americas Off-Broadway, offering a collection of regional theatre productions from across the U.S.

Ithaca's Kitchen Theatre Center will be represented with A Play On Words, which officially opens May 17 and runs through May 30 under the direction of Margarett Perry.

Dykstra also penned the work, which is described as such: "'Seinfeld' meets Waiting for Godot in this ferociously witty play on, about and exploding with language. Rusty and Max have been friends since grade school and they've been arguing almost the entire time. Today they're scheming up something big."

Designing A Play On Words are Kelly Syring (set design), E.D. Intemann (lighting design), Hannah Kochman (costume design) and Nate Richardson (sound design).

Mark Boyett appeared in Dykstra's Clean Alternatives Off-Broadway. Dykstra has appeared in Rounding Third at Hartford's TheaterWorks, in Brian Park's Americana Absurdum in London and Off-Broadway in The Jesus Factor, Breaking Legs, Incommunicado and Tatjana in Color.
