Locales hosting the screenings include Aberdeen, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Rotherham (South Yorkshire), Hull, Leeds, Ipswich, Belfast, Bradford, Plymouth and Windermere as well as four locations in London.

In Manchester's Exchange Square, where Figaro and Turandot will be shown, England's World Cup matches were being broadcast as well; they had to be abandoned due to rowdy footie fans, according to the BBC. (Are we certain that opera fans will be better behaved?)
