"Bobby Child is the rich son of a banking family with dreams of getting on the Broadway stage in the Zangler Follies," according to press notes. "When he auditions for Mr. Zangler and fails miserably, a dejected Bobby is given two options – marry his overzealous fiancée or foreclose on an abandoned theatre in Deadrock, Nevada. Upon arrival in Nevada, Bobby instantly falls in love with the town’s postmistress and decides he must stay and save the theatre.
