News Brandon Victor Dixon, Chester Gregory, Alysha Umphress Will Explore Broadway Rhythm and Booze Broadway Rhythm and Booze, a new cabaret series created as a platform to "highlight the soulful talents of the Broadway community," will continue June 20 at Tillman's Bar & Lounge in Manhattan.

The 8 PM performance will feature the talents of Brandon Victor Dixon (Tony nominee for The Color Purple), Chester Gregory (Sister Act, Cry-Baby) and Alysha Umphress (American Idiot).

Music director is Steven Jamail, who will be joined by Colin Dean (bass) and John Bollinger (drums).

Doors open at 7 PM.

"The Broadway Rhythm and Booze series is destined to become one of New York's most celebrated showcases for soul music, R&B and live performance," said Nikole Vallins and Natalie Malotke, producers, N+N Productions, in a previous statement. "The stage at Tillman's will give voice to stellar Broadway and emerging artists from around the country, giving them a new outlet to inspire and be inspired. The future of cabaret is dependent upon bringing diverse crowds and the next generation of world-class entertainers together and we hope to continue building upon this unique brand of authentic, intimate and contemporary entertainment." 

Tillman's Bar & Lounge is located in Manhattan at 165 West 26th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
