The invitation-only crowd, which includes New School MFA students, will be able to take part in the question and answer session following the interview, to take place at the University in New York City. Streisand starred on Broadway in the original staging of the Jules Styne musical Funny Girl as well as in I Can Get It for You Wholesale. Streisand made her film debut reprising her role as Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl" — winning an Oscar for her portrayal. She also starred on screen in "Hello, Dolly" and "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever." She received a special Tony Award in 1970 for her work over that past decade. Streisand also recently served as material for Daniel Stern's Off-Broadway comedy, Barbra's Wedding.
