The open-ended production will officially open Aug. 26. The cast features Danny Bernardy, Brenda Braxton, Catherine Porter and Babs Winn.

Cougar The Musical, which was penned by Donna Moore, "unleashes three divine but disillusioned women who develop a taste for hot, young men," according to production notes. "They let their inner cougar roar and purr, finding self-love and empowerment in the process. The sexy, ferocious cast of three fabulous-over-forty women and one multi-talented boy toy sing and dance their way through a satiating range of original songs, from grinding blues, to doo-wop, to pop to 'Julio'; a romantic ballad, sung to a vibrator."

The creative team includes musical director Jana Zielonka, set designer and sound designer Josh Iacovelli and costume designer Dustin Cross.

Taylor-Corbett was the director/choreographer for Broadway's Swing!, for which she received two Tony nominations. Most recently, she opened Kurt Weill’s theatre-dance drama, The Seven Deadly Sins at the New York City Ballet, with Patti LuPone in the role of Anna 1. She has choreographed several feature films, including the original "Footloose" and "Bewitched," and has directed plays and musicals all over the world.

Moore was a child star on the Emmy Award-winning 70′s TV show, "Zoom." A graduate of NYU Drama School, Moore has done stand-up comedy, national commercials, concerts, political comedy troupes and enjoyed a three-and-a-half year stint at Don’t Tell Mama, where Cougar the Musical was conceived. She is currently writing I Need A Lawyer Or A Hit Man. Running time is 90 minutes.

Show times are Wednesday at 8 PM, Friday 8 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM.

St. Luke’s Theatre is located at 308 West 46th Street. Tickets are $39.50-$89.50 and can be purchased at Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.
