Directed by Tony nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett, the open-ended production will officially open Aug. 26.
The cast features Danny Bernardy, Brenda Braxton, Catherine Porter and Babs Winn.
Cougar The Musical, which was penned by Donna Moore, "unleashes three divine but disillusioned women who develop a taste for hot, young men," according to press notes. "They let their inner cougar roar and purr, finding self-love and empowerment in the process. The sexy, ferocious cast of three fabulous-over-forty women and one multi-talented boy toy sing and dance their way through a satiating range of original songs, from grinding blues, to doo-wop, to pop to 'Julio'; a romantic ballad, sung to a vibrator."
The creative team includes musical director Jana Zielonka, set designer and sound designer Josh Iacovelli and costume designer Dustin Cross.
Show times will be Wednesday at 8 PM, Friday 8 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM.
St. Luke’s Theatre is located at 308 West 46th Street. Tickets are $39.50-$89.50 and can be purchased at Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.
