Kef theatrical productions, which is headed by artistic director Adam Fitzgerald, presents the world premiere of Israela Margalit's First Prize beginning April 28 at the Arclight Theatre.

Directed by Margarett Perry, opening night at the Off-Broadway venue is scheduled for May 2. Performances will continue through May 21.

The cast features Brian Dykstra, Susan Ferrara, Christopher Hirsh and Lori Prince.

First Prize, according to press notes, "explores a young woman’s quest for glory and fulfillment in the cutthroat world of classical music. Inspired by her real-life experience, Margalit weaves a story of colorful characters with wit, charm, passion and dynamic classical music. The production features Margalit’s piano playing from her numerous internationally acclaimed recordings."

Show times are Monday at 7:30 PM and Thursday-Saturday at 8 PM.
